The disease rheumatoid arthritis made its debut during 1976 and have varied throughout the years with better and worse periods. Gradually stronger and stronger medicines had to be used, such as anti-cancer drugs, cortisones, gold salts, miscellaneous painkillers, and other anti-inflammatory remedies. During the latest years the condition worsened still more with strong pains and a reduction of the ability to move hands, shoulders, and feet. In connection with this the quality of life also dropped noticeably. In November 1998 a treatment with Quantronic Resonance System started. After one month’s treatment a small improvement of the ability to move the hands was noticed and after another two months’ treatment the result was clearly noticeable. In the late summer of 1999 the thumbs could also be bent backwards 90° (see picture). A gradual de-escalation of the medicines to a minimum has taken place. Nowadays the patient only takes cortisone, which is diminished by 25 %, and when necessary, painkillers. The patient has got a better circulation and mobility, better sleep, less pains, lower blood pressure, and a considerably better quality of life.
